Thank you for visiting our website.
We are glad you received our "God is Love" card.
It is our desire to share this message of love with the world around us. God, who created the universe we live in, is a God whose very nature is love and desires to have a relationship with people.
He knows you personally and loves you! He created you to be loved by Him and also that you can love Him and others. God desires to reveal Himself to you! When you look at nature you can see His handiwork and on a dark clear night you can look up in the sky and see the stars; they reveal the glory of God and show you His eternal power and greatness. Nobody can count the number of stars, each one of them differs from each other in grandeur. Yet God has a name given to each one of them. How much more important are we to God! Not one person in the world is the same.
You are indeed a unique creation of God! You are not a random product of evolution; this thought is nothing but a theory and a philosophy of man rather than proven science. God is not someone who is silent and absent from this world, although things happen according to natural laws He created, the fact is that He upholds and maintains everything by His power. He is the one that keeps your heart beating and your lungs breathing and He wants to communicate with you through His word! The Bible is the inspired word of God! It is the only book in the world that foretells over 3000 fulfilled prophecies. The Creator of the universe is also the author of this book!
On the first page of this book you will find this grand statement: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" when you turn to the second half of the Bible called the New Testament you find more detail of the revelation of God. Please turn to John’s gospel chapter one and from verse one you read; in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Read further to verse 14: And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Please read also Hebrews chapter one verse one and two: God who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the father's by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds. The Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God is the Creator!
He is the image of the invisible God. Colossians1:15. The full revelation of God!
He came into this world to fulfill God’s plan for man. He was born of a virgin and was called JESUS "you shall call His name Jesus for He will save His people from their sins". Matthew 1:21. For that He had to go to the cross to make atonement for sins, for it is written that without the shedding of blood there would be no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22.
For our intellect it is hard to understand; the Lord Jesus the Creator of all things, He came as the perfect man in this world to die on a Roman cross. Why did He do that? He did that for it was the will of His Father and He loved us so much so that we would not land up in Hell. There is a problem you see and this is sin and you and I have sinned willingly and unknowingly and, in that condition, it is impossible to be in heaven in the presence of a holy and righteous God.
The Bible says we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. The wages of sins is death Romans 6:23. And it is appointed for man to die once and after that the judgement. Hebrews 9:27.
God wants to forgive us on a righteous basis. Christ Jesus took our place when He offered Himself to God. It is by the blood of Christ that we are washed clean. "The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin". 1 John 1:7
When you honestly pray to God; be mercifully to me a sinner, He will hear you and forgive you! You may know and believe that the Lord Jesus died on the cross for you and that through Him you have forgiveness and will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. When you open the door of your heart for the Lord Jesus, He will come into your life and give you peace and happiness.
You will learn that God thought of you even before he created the world and that you should be His child. He has great plans for you: plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. As a believer in Jesus Christ you are now a child of God and you belong to the great Shepherd to guide you through life and He will never leave you nor forsake you Psalms 23/John 10. You belong to that big family of God with many brothers and sisters it is also called the church; the body of Christ, the bride of Christ and the house of God. You are totally identified with Christ who died and rose again and now is glorified in heaven. You share the same position that Christ had on the earth, therefore you should be baptized in water in His Name, Romans chapter 6. You will also feel and share the same rejection that He had on earth. It is a great privilege to get together, as believers, in His Name for He promises to be in their midst Matthew 18:20
His desire is that we should remember Him and what He suffered for us 1 Corinthians 11:23-26. It is also a great opportunity for fellowship, praying together and to be encouraged from the Word of God. Acts 2:42. We believe that we live in the last days before the return of the Lord to take us to Himself to heaven. We as believers in Christ will not go through the judgement of God that will fall on this earth after we are gone 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12. We believe that these are difficult times we live in and Christianity as a whole has failed as a faithful witness for God on earth including me the writer of this article Revelation 3:14-22. Yet the Lord knew very well what would happen in our days and has given clear directions for us for today to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus and let everyone who names the Name of the Lord depart from iniquity and to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those that call on the Lord out of a pure heart 2 Timothy 2. Yet the Lord remains always faithful.
In Him we can find help in our time of need. He promises to be with us even to the end of the age Matthew 28:20
This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1Timothy 2:3-4
He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen Revelation 22:20-21
Sincerely, Erik Timmermans.
